Android Climbed, the iPhone Down

As summarised Post Compass from Cnet, Friday (5/13/2016), in the first quarter of 2016 which ended in March, Kantar data shows Android smartphone market share in the u.s. increase year-over-year amounted to 7.3 per cent to 65.5 percent.
In China, the "cake" of Android in the smartphone market rose 5.9 percent to 77 percent. Meanwhile, in five European countries, namely the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, recorded rising 7.1 percent to 75.6 percent.
"This is the largest increase in Android at the 5th European countries within the last two years," said mobile analyst, Lauren Guenveur Kantar, in report of the institution.
Android's growth in the u.s. and United Kingdom pushed by Samsung that remain entrenched at the top of the largest Android manufacturer. Other brands such as Motorola and LG provides a contribution.
iPhone even down
The opposite happened on the iPhone. Smart phone market share Apple hosts it decreased by 4.9 percent to 31.6 percent in the us.
In five European countries as mentioned above, the iPhone's share shrank 1.2 per cent to 18.9 percent. As for the Chinese market recorded a decline in the market share of the iPhone by 5 percent to 21.1 percent.
However, after the first quarter, Apple has issued a "new weapon" named iPhone 4 mobile SE, inches with the "innards" of similar iPhone 6S which dibanderol more affordable. This product could shake up the Android dominance predictable.
"Android's market share may be negatively affected by the high number of requests against your iPhone SE," said Guenveur. "IPhone sales would mainly SE plays an important role in China, where the biggest player is defined by success in the medium segment.
